Hydraulic actuation is very cost effective when hydraulic pressure is already available, where valves must shut off against high operating pressures, and for valves larger than 10” when operating pressures exceed 90 psi (6 bar).   Approximately 2/3 smaller in size and weight than other actuators, hydraulic actuators reduce the amount of support infrastructure required and facilitate installation when space constraints are a concern.

Typical applications are feed valves on Tower Filter Presses, ash sluice valves, or dense-phase pneumatic transport, such as cement powder.

...Solenoid Valves
...Open/Close Limit Switches
...Proximity switches
...Open-Close-Last Position fail mode
...Manual hydraulic pump actuation
...Pressure Regulators
...Protective Guards

Where operating
conditions require
hydraulic actuation but
only plant air is available,
valves are supplied with a pneumatically operated hydraulic pump capable of operating one or more valves from the same pumping station.

Industry-standard face-to-face dimensions, making them interchangeable with most ball valves, plug valves, gate valves, and diaphragm valve

Patented non-stretch elastomer tube design, providing a longer tube life and operation under vacuum conditions

316 ss pull bars and fasteners

Exterior as well as interior corrosion resistant paint (epoxy/zinc base coat for chemical resistance with polyester top coat for UV resistance)

Split valve body design, combined with elastomer tubes that have no flange bolt holes, allow in-line tube change that drastically reduce maintenance time
